Setup Icons

Setup Icons are the icon files you will use in the interface with the end-user. VisualSetup supports only Windows Icon files, that are automatically compacted during the setup compilation.

 

To add an icon to your setup program, select Appearance > Setup Icons menu command. Then, select Editor > Add Icon menu command and select the icon file you want to include.

The properties available for Setup Icons are:

 

Icon Information

 

Name

The name that identifies the icon. This name with the language must to be unique, for example, you can include an icon named MyIcon with English language property and another icon also named MyIcon with Spanish language property. Depending on the select language, VisualSetup will display either the English version of MyIcon or the Spanish version of MyIcon.

 

Conditional Information

 

Language

The language of the icon. Before selecting the language you want, you must to define it in the Setup Languages editor.
