During the installation, you will need to either change the settings of the end-user's computer or store some configuration in the system's files or the Registry. It is a very common procedure in installations. Examples of system configuration's change is to register a file's extension, to configure a program to be initialized when Windows starts, to store the initial settings of your application in the Windows Registry, etc.
VisualSetup allows you to either change the Windows Registry or change the INI files of the end-user's system. All these configuration will be removed by the uninstaller in the uninstallation process.
